Our Story
Climate Engineering Companies was founded in 1972 as a single shop operation in Milford, Connecticut. The company was founded with the guiding principle that quality service is our mission in every customer interaction. Keeping with this principle, Climate Engineering Companies became a certified Carrier Transicold dealer to promote the highest quality refrigeration equipment on the market in addition to striving to deliver best in class service. With this principle in mind, over the past 50 years Climate Engineering Companies has expanded from a single location to five locations, serving five states to become the longest serving Carrier Transicold Dealer in the Northeast with the largest Carrier parts inventory, most Factory Trained Technicians and largest Mobile Service Fleet in the region. As we have grown, we have embraced the operating philosophy that the fewer touchpoints a customer has to meet their needs, the better it is for them. As a result, Climate Engineering Companies expanded to serve our customers’ needs not just in the refrigeration equipment space, but in all synergistic equipment areas such as Medium and Heavy Duty trucks, Buses, Trailers, Bodies, Telematics and Leasing Needs.
